Joan’s chef soirée and leaving for Cape Charles
Joan has been at junior chef camp all week, and yesterday was her soirée, where families come to taste what they’ve been working on all week.

After that Brandon took the kids to get gas and wash the car so I could pack.
My energy level was really low yesterday around dinner time, even though it had been high all week. Maybe I needed more water? Either way from dinner onward was really tough.
Today I’m hoping to leave pretty early. Here’s the last things I need to do:
- Pull out pjs, toiletries, and one outfit each for Tony’s house (one night on the way)
- Decide whether I want to bring my computer bag.
- Grab the bumpers for the beds off our bed
- Pack everyone’s shoes including my running shoes because I want to keep doing couch to 10k
- Pack everyone’s toiletries including all the new shampoo and stuff I bought for the trip; make sure to grab a razor and a hairbrush
- Games, books, workbooks, chargers, and possibly the baby for the pool
- Make sure the house is picked up so it’s not a disaster when we get home.
- Possibly take the kids to the coffee shop so they don’t watch tv all morning and then watch tv for the whole car ride. And while there get coffee beans as a gift for Jenna and Tony.
Somehow I need to review several abstracts in there on the way or something. I wish I was better able to do work in the car.
